Denis Seek Kwai Yin

Denis Seek is the General Manager of Radio Technologies in the Technology Development Division of Maxis. He is responsible for developing roadmaps for Maxis’ radio access technologies, driving trials and, through business case analysis, recommends new technologies into Maxis’ network. His team is currently involved in the study of HSPA evolution, LTE, WiMax Wave 2, Mobile TV technologies (MBMS, DVB-H, MediaFLO and DVB-SH), Femtocell, 3G@900MHz plus other wireless focused technologies.

Denis started his career with SingTel (Singapore) where he participated in the implementation of Globe Telecom’s GSM network in Manila and Cebu. Thereafter, he was with MobileOne Ltd (Singapore) as the Head of Radio Planning and Technology Development for more than 10 years before joining Maxis.

Denis holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore, a "Diplome d'Ingenieur" (equivalent to a Master's Degree in Telecommunications) from the "Institut National des Telecommunications", France and an MBA with distinction from the Warwick University, UK
